Structural Overview
G.L.Tiley & Associates Ltd. Structural Engineering Department has extensive experience in designing structures for the mining industry in North and South America.
We cover all areas of mining structural design and offer services for site inspections and construction support. One of our department's areas of expertise is design.
This includes the design of headframes, collarhouses, bins and binhouses, the design and layout of hoist buildings, mineshafts, guidance systems, loading pockets, and hydraulic dump systems. We also design emergency escape systems.
We have also been involved in the design of multiple deck work/maintenance stages.
G.L.Tiley & Associates Ltd. offers finite element analysis of buildings as well as solid modelling for sheaves and drums. We are able to certify existing sheaves and headframes when loading conditions change.
